Well for the average Joe casual yea.

For anyone that knows a little something about combat sports it won't be that extreme, they will understand that Floyd is a great defensive boxer, greatest of his generation by far so it's kinda normal that the MMA guy will lose.

But in the end you are right because the majority in this are the casuals everyone is chasing for that casual cash grab cause you always have the hardcore fans in the pocket anyway you slice it.

Hope Conor puts on a decent show and doesn't look to bad.

I think most people will know at least Conor had the balls to come to boxing and Floyd did not come to MMA. Listen to any of the analysts on ESPN that say Conor has no chance, they also say Floyd has no chance in the cage. I don't think this is going to change anyone's perception of MMA unless Conor flatlines him.

Regardless of all that, MMA fighters are looked at as the baddest human beings on Earth. After McGregor gets embarrassed, that will change.
