What if Grand prix in UFC

16 man/2 years grand prix for each weightclass. Less fighters roster makes more attention to each fighter,which gives them more popularity.Easier to build top 16 by the end of grand prix. More hunger for fighters to get title aswell,because of money prize pool. And coolest thing is fair determination for champion title,compared to today's models contest.
They can make trials for fighters with best resume on paper, like: atleast 10 wins with less than 3 loses, high finish ratio. Without marketable BS,ofcourse.

I like this idea but it will never happe.. they want to give their draws the easiest roads to the title

That is why Pride was so much better than the UFC. I like the tournament idea and it should be used once a year or so like Pride did. Everybody knew who the real champions were in Pride.

might as well make an owgp in the ufc, shit, every division almost keeps getting hung up on ridiculous interim belts and champs don't fight, so it would hold more meaningful grounds to show who is the best fighter
