And again...

Gastelum looked like a little child in there vs Weidman. Weidman was throwing him around at will.

Gastalum was probably 185-190 at fight night, and Weidman somewhere in the 200s. What a fucking cheat. Does anyone think PEDs can give you a greater advantage then outweighing someone by 20lbs? Hell no! This is worse than steroids, and yet it is continually trivialized.

If we have USADA drugtesting at random, which each time is a huge procedure, how hard would it be to allow fighters' weight within let's say 5lbs one week before the fight, and show up with a scale now and then for testing/verification?

Then there's the simple possibility of just letting them step onto a scale before they enter the Octagon.

There are so many simple ways to make weight cutting a thing of the past real quick. There's no reason not to implement a ban right now. You've really got to ask yourself why it is still not being done.

Gastelum is probably still around 200lbs on fight night.

Fat weigh more than muscle
Must be heavy on fight night with that Soft belly

Over 200lbs easy

Don't ever say "tousand" again. It makes you sound like an irish welfare recipient

Although I believe that Chris only won because of his size advantage, I think Gastelum is responsible for his own career.

He can make 170 with discipline. He is not a tall guy, and even in a higher weight class, he has a lot of unnecessary body fat.

You are a professional athlete in an endurance sport, there is NO WAY you should be carrying around all that excess fat.

Fat fighters are a sign of no discipline. Endurance burns a lot of fat.

You don't hit a wall at 178 lbs if you only weigh 185-190, dummy.

Weidman is just a bad match up for Kelvin, bigger, stronger, a much better wrestling pedigree.

Yeah, but I still don't think it's his fault that he is not competitive against someone who is violating the weight limit.

How (and what) is Chris violating the weight limit? Dude made weight like a playboy and then showed fight night to get a sub fair and square...

Shut up loser. Chris is a normal sized middleweight. Rockhold is the one you should be crying about, if you wanna be a little biotch.

LOL............

He would have no problem making 170 if he was 185-190 lbs. That's a perfectly normal cut, even for smaller fighters with less muscle mass. You think this guy can't cut more than 7-12 lbs? There are LW's who cut 25 lbs or more, ffs.

stop. Just stop. Kenedy was absolutely monstrous and so physically strong. What Kelvin gives up in size he makes up in speed and cardio. It's just that Weidman had not just better wrestling but way better grappling.
