Because we have many old fighters still active and taking beatings from the young guns.

I recommend the UFC starts a 40 years of age + division, with the only competitiors allowed being former champions themselves(pride,bellator,kotc,rings and etc...)

In that manner it would be fair that they fight other declining fighters and the playing field becomes equal.

it's called bellator... if you're too slow, too old, lost a step or whatever.... just go to another organization. you'll still have a nice end to your career... but an old folks division in the ufc? nah. silly idea.
