Kelvin Gastelum congratulate Chris Weidman after sub loss.

No reason to feel bad. They looked two weight classes apart.

Kelvin was clearly more skilled just too small.

Weidman is a shell of his former shelf but he still is a big MW.

Kelvin just realized that he better make weight at 170 or keep fighting fighters WAY BIGGER than him.

Kelvin's always had class. He just needs to lay back off of the weed during training camp to stop getting the munchies.

A difference of 10-20 pounds hardly matters at all when the fight goes to the ground. Weidman outclassed Gastelum on the ground, so it's laughable to say Gastelum was "clearly more skilled."

hopefully he can get serious about his diet and get back to his proper weight class. Reach and size advantage too much vs. top 5 guys.

Kelvin's new walk out music..

(time stamped)

WAR KELVIN !!

Kelvin would be a LW if he got his body fat down and knew how to cut weight. Dude needs to go on a keto diet or something.

Good to see him in good spirits though.

U clearly never grappled.

Weight difference matters more on the ground

Lost to the much bigger man. Kelvin needs to take his nutrition seriously and he will be a killer. He pretty much is anyway

Didn't make a lick of difference against Tim Kennedy.
Kennedy outgrappled Bisping and was dead even against Jacare grappling... But he couldn't keep Kelvin down.

You guys keep that narrative going though. See how it plays out.

Clearly more skilled lmao.

Kelvin landed one significant strike all fight. He got out-struck, Out wrestled and out-grappled, followed by getting handily submitted.

Stay salty my friend.

What are you talking about?

when did kennedy grapple chael?

All the comments about Kelvin needing to cut down to WW = armchair quarterbacking. He's clearly been doing well at the weight and even gave Weidman his first knockdown.

Weidman just showed tonight that he's still championship calibur.

Good on Gastelum for showing respect on Chris's big night in front of Chris's hometown. Character isn't defined by winning and losing.

Classy of Kelvin. Let's not argue who was more skilled, blah, blah, blah...Kelvin accepted the loss like a man and both fans and haters should do the same.
