They aren't going to spend 300k/fight for someone fighting cans on the prelims. This would make 4 losses in a row, and his last win that wasn't Vitor without TRT was over 3 years ago. Gastelum is supposed to be a step down in competition, but if he can't win that, he's probably going to have to take a serious pay cut.
