Iron-chinned Jeremy Stephens being knocked out by Yves Edwards

LW division at the time had the feeling of anyone could beat anyone.

Yves had a pretty worn chin at this point in his career and Stephens was hunting for the KO way too hard and Yves still had the skill level to counter Jeremy perfectly, if Jeremy had been more patient he'd have likely won by KO.

Jeremy is a good fighter but nothing special, fan of him, but he lost 5 of his last 7 bouts the crazy thing is that the 2 fight he won were against Bermudez and Barao

Yves was robbed against Ferguson IMO. Good fighter.

My first live MMA event was Moosin: God of Martial Arts lol.... was a shit show but got the pleasure of seeing Yves pull off a power bomb and a rock bottom in the same fight vs Mike Campbell. That was the highlight of the night, other than Pudz getting humiliated in front of a 90% polish crowd. The silence in that building was eerie.

Yves was definitely a beast and an uncrowned LW champ when he was the only one winning LW fights when no belt was around.

IIRC, Stephens tried to claim that he was still in it. In hindsight, the ref being on the ball and stopping it quickly (on time) has helped him have a longer career.

When was the last time you watched that fight?

Yves also had an iron chin and got knocked out by pillow fisted Sam Stout.
