He was a volatile character in the old school MMA community and he inspired many epic stories including a super fight in a mini-golf course against Eddie Bravo and he once fought a drag queen while cutting weight for a fight. But aside from that, his students have mentioned that he was a caring instructor and he made sure each student was treated well at his classes.

He was so interesting but what made him come to prominence was him going at with Frank Trigg.

His name was Quincy "Spice" Rice:

Similar taste in outfits and they both were wild characters. Although Quincy was more talented in judo and grappling as you can see here, he wins his match:

You gotta be a real fucking asshole to get in a fight with Eddie Bravo. That's one of the chillest motherfuckers around.

Conor copied Sherdog by getting his OWN forum, what a DICK!

Well a fight as in a heated dispute. Quincy hates BJJ and wanted to prove that Judo/Sambo is superior and so they fought within grappling rules.

What does any of that have to do with Conor?
These 2 are nothing alike

Before Conor fans gay this thread up, can you elaborate on the Eddie Bravo fight story?

Sounds more like the original Junie Browning.

Who the fork is this guy

The original Conor McGregor was Floyd Mayweather. Note the custom-stitching on Floyd's shirt.

You mean the guy who flips his shit whenever somebody tells him that the Earth is not flat. Yeah, he seems real laid back and rational.

Exactly!

This dude just goes off with an idea he has and he will defend it like its his first born child.

I wouldnt compare him to Conor. People will remember Conor 50 yrs from now.

Anyway,I could see myself getting pissed at Eddie Bravo and fighting him.
