Makes you realize that Silva would have finished him twice if it wasn't for those 2 flukes.

He's only been finished in the 3rd 3 times but whatever
Not reallyHa you noob Moose finished him in the 2nd
Most factual thing I've ever seen. How can you deny Silva GOAT status?People that.
A. act like Silva was in his prime
B. Act like weidman's ko was legit and not a result of andy being a dipshit
C. Act like the broken leg was a legit win despite one dominant round in a 5 rounder
Without the jackass ko or the broken leg, we could of seen a silva sonnen2 or Silva Henderson type win for Andy.
Anyways though, if Fedor's losses at age 35 don't diminish his goat status, why in the motherfucking world should andy's losses post 37 years old hinder him.
IGNORANT SILVA HATERS OR GSP FANBOYS!!!!!!!! YOU MOTHERFUCKERS ARE WRONG ABOUT ALL OF THAT.

1) Anderson was in his prime and was on a huge winning streak and destroying people a year before his loss.
2) Anderson's K.O. loss was legit. He got outstruck, his 2nd loss to Weidman was flukish but he was losing both the 1st and 2nd round.
3) Yoel Romero is a better fighter than Anderson Silva and would of destroyed a Prime Anderson Silva. Romero beating Weidman just means he would of destroyed Anderson.
4) Whittaker would likely beat a prime Anderson.
5) Rockhold could hold his own but styles make fights. I'd favor Anderson overall given Rockhold's chin issues and not as deadly 'explosiveness' as Romero.
6) Anderson only became out of his prime and noticeably different after he came back from his leg injury.
my logic is that it was a result Andy beating himself and not weidman beating Andy......Well if Anderson hadn't been knocked out cold, then yeah, I suppose he MIGHT have won.
Brilliant fucking logic TS.
Not really
Yes Moose ended up getting the TKO nod due to technicality but to claim that anyone was "finished" in that fight is just stretching it
You are living in a fantasy land man.
so who is the goat then.... GSP I assume since you are so adiment? No you are.
Prime Anderson always had weakness when it came to grappling, and most importantly wrestling and ground and pound. A prime Anderson was submitted 2x and destroyed in 2x fights in Pride. Anderson Silva lost 3x before he reached the UFC. The 'GOAT' of all time in MMA isn't a guy who losses 3x in his prime.
I can excuse Anderson losing to Bisping and Cormier those performances were clearly after +15 years of combat experience and lots of injuries and wear and tear. But you are crazy to somehow excuse his 3x losses that occurred in the past before he even lost to Weidman. Also, crazy to knock off Weidman's wins.
Yoel Romero is also something far scarier to anything Anderson Silva ever faced except for Daniel Cormier. And guys like Gegard Mousasi are something he never faced either. The most dangerous fighters Anderson faced at MW and beat were Hendo, Vitor, Maia and Franklin. Now consider that everyone else was either a slow grappler who won via lots of boring UD (like Lettis, Okami, Chael) or guys were big and slow with inferior striking Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar and James Irvin.
Anderson was submitted 2x both occurring 6 and 7 years into his mma career respectively and yet 2 years after that he entered the UFC and started to dominate. hmmmm you'd have to be nuts to knock his earlier losses.
