I think Randy Couture had the most impressive career in part because of what he accomplished despite his age.

He won the title at WEC and the UFC merged the WEC FW division as the official UFC FW division.So..

I stand by my asterisk.

His first win wasn't defending a title he won from someone else. Thus he really only defended his UFC title 6 times.

Randy was never dominate. You never thought he could kill someone, he just won. He was the smartest champion, a tactician.

IMO Tim Sylvia is the greatest HW champion.

Conor is the most over rated

MM is probably the greatest in any class

The spider was the most fun to watch.

GSP is the most boring

And Matt Hughes was the toughest

Jon Jones is the GOAT champ in the history of MMA.

Nobody did it better. Fresh out of puberty, dude went on an elbowing and choking rampage (pun intended).

Velasquez, Jones, Silva, GSP, Pettis, Cruz, and Johnson were the best of the best.

Pettis? That's an odd inclusion.

Velasquez at his best deserves that praise, but he was there for so short a time. Including him opens the door for dozens of others, imho.

Pretty hard to argue again title defenses, that is the measuring stick.
