Even after Fedor 1, Nog got plenty more great wins. In fact most UFC champions can't match Nog's post Fedor 1 record let alone when you take in his dominance pre-Fedor. Add in the fact that Fedor beat him 1.5 times after that as well. It's really no question who the heavyweight GOAT is.

Prime Fedor was an absolute machine. Most educated fans understand this. There will always be people who look back at athletes from yesteryear and fail to grasp their greatness; it's a natural byproduct from not understanding context.

I'm not even a huge Fedor fan, but facts are facts. He's the HW GOAT, and it's not even close. The HW division's failure to evolve ensures his GOAT status for the foreseeable future.
