Pico was hyped like no other. There have been plenty of guys who've been hyped like crazy only to lose their debut fight.

Jacare getting KO'd by Patino is a good one. Jacare did turn it around.

Papi Abedi was hyped up and looked good, then lost his first two UFC fights, won his third, then lost his fourth. All his losses were stoppages and the first two in the first round.

Cub got subbed in 15 seconds.

Somewhat related and interesting

Fitch and Pyle lost their debuts.

Fitch against Pyle by sub and Pyle lost to Rampage.

Easy, CM Punk.

I don't see a worse situation than the Pico one.

Super hyped, probably has all of the "skill" in the world, gets caught by the worst possible uppercut that a dude could throw and subbed until he dieded.

Cesar Gracie?

Close the thread I got this

Glover lost his debut, too.

Eerily similar to Punk considering that thy both come from wrestling.

Hector Lombard was supposed to be UFC champ, lost promotional debut to boetsch.

Barao lost his first fight ever then ripped off 3 straight wins. So he has to be in the mix.

They overhyped him BADLY, smaller guy fighting a 8-2 guy in his pro debut, why did they even pro debut a guy on their biggest main card ever? SMH.

Crocop in his UFC debut.
Got done in by his own finishing move, employed by Gonzaga of all people.
