Are UFC fighters famous enough to get recognised by non fans? Too famous to use tinder?

Just wondering if you think the AVERAGE UFC fighters nowadays are too famous to do normal things without getting recognised and treated differently. Obviously Conor and other stars don't count.

Has anyone ever matched with a fighter on tinder? Maybe they're too famous for tinder. Maybe some people in California have.

I matched with MM but he said I was too heavy and he wanted me to pay for everything upfront in case I didn't make it.

Bullshit. We saw you during that press conference, and I'm positive that Mighty Mouse swiped left.

I would think only if the non fan has a boyfriend/friend/family member who is a fan. Or if they're one of the few fighters who have had some kind of movie or TV role. But for the most part, no they are not famous enough to be recognized by the average person.

By the Tinder thing I dunno if you're insinuating that some fighters are openly gay (I don't know of any) or you're talking about WMMA fighters. Very few women fighters are well known in the general public and I doubt that Ronda, PVZ, or Holm use Tinder very often.

Ronda on Tinder?

TJ Grant was always out and about around Halifax, and people in general had no idea who he was, just looked like a regular fit guy, in Costco . Maybe it's a Canadian thing, people just gave him his space. Haven't seen Chris Kelades around at all.

Bryan caraway was on pawn stars nobody knew who the fuck he was

No most of them are not famous enough to be noticed by the general public. Most porn stars wouldn't be recognized either.

I think I recall there being a female fighter talking on social media about using tinder on a trip to Australia.

I believe a large majority of fighters people would have zero clue who they are.

What do you mean by average fight?

Maybe if fighter is from smaller town, locals probably would know that he's a UFC fighter.

How many tennis, golf players do you know?

You hopin to find and bang around with with gay Jesus on tinder?

I would have said grinder if I meant only gays. Maybe some male fighters are gay I don't know or care. People can have sex with who they want.

Firstly, no I don't think the average UFC fighter is so famous that they'll be recognised by the average man in the street and therefore would not be treated differently. I would imagine the only UFC fighters that do get recognised are the likes of (of course Conor McGregor), GSP (maybe in Canada moreso than anwyhere else), and legends like Chuck Liddell and Rampage Jackson... and that's probably about it.

Secondly, yes I once matched Paul Daley on tinder, but he punched me well after the date was finished. And I don't even live in California which goes against all your assumptions!

MMA is far from mainstream. There are some very recognizable faces, but the average person won't recognize 99% of the roster.

I saw Ben Henderson at the movies. We were watching Lucy. One person came up to him and shook his hand. The other people in the theater had no idea who he was or maybe they were like me, they knew but didnt make a big deal out of it.
