People still don't realize Conor shot so he wouldn't get TKOed? If he was KOed he doesn't get to do the post-fight interviews and damage control, and would have to take longer time off between fights. This was all part of the plan: he chose to be submitted after he ran out of gas in round 2, in other words he chose to lose in the manner that would cause him the least amount of brain trauma.

More fighters should probably be doing this, by the way, instead of going out like Glover vs Gus and getting multiple concussions over 5 rounds and years taken off their life.

If you don't have to worry about kicks, takedowns and simply angling and working hands... Floyd Mayweather has ten fold the experience and prep for these types of fights. MMA Conor would rekt him... But boxing would be all Mayweather.
