Got hit by the same punch over and over round after round and then getting hit with it 3 times on the bounce to get knocked out by said punch

How do you be a 15 year plus fight veteran and not understand how to defend an uppercut

The eyepoke may very well have changed the trajectory of the fight.

Gus should be reprimanded.

how do people lose fights? everyone should be immune to any attack. LMAO

When you get KOd by a punch in your last fight you realise you have an obvious hole there in your open defence and then fix it

The same punch he got Kod by he just got hit with 20+ times and then 3 times in a row to get knocked out by again

To get hit with a punch is fine to get blasted over and over with no clue how to stop it is pretty shocking from a veteran professional fighter

he wasnt ko'd in his last fight so i dont know what you're on.

Glover should come to sherdog more often. I'm sure he'd learn how to fight from the experts here.

Glover's timing was so fucking off it was kinda laughable. Instead of timing when Gus was coming in to counter him (like Rumble did), Glover would let Gus land and then try to counter lol

yeah!!! davem vs gustaffson next imo.

fuckin moron.

Yeah fuck it, let's take his fight purse and change it to a NC. Then sentence him to 100hrs community service.

You realize that this shit happens on every card? Only a few fighters "use eye-pokes". Gus isn't one of them.

Glover is over the hill and has very little speed left at this point. Just very heavy hands and a hell of a lot of toughness. Gus's hands looked very fast and he was able to land even though he was pretty much throwing the same punches over and over.

well apparently he missed that class it was probably the same one that taught turning your back and running is the best defense to use to avoid getting hit.

I hate to be that guy but glover is overrated. Props to gus on fight of the year.

Glover was always a product of Dana and Rogan hype. He almost got KTFO'd by Bader then the next thing you know "The Tyson of MMA"..lel

I really enjoy watching both of these fighters perform, but goddamn, that eyepoke was extremely frustrating from a fan's perspective. Clearly it affected Glover's vision and therefore his performance, the exact extent to which we will never know for certain. Once again we are robbed from a fair competition and possibly the course of title contention in the light heavyweight division has been unfairly altered. Gus looked great and his uppercut, and later in the fight, his combos, looked sharp and obviously effective. However, the question remains, how much of that was enabled by the eyepoke? Gus should have been deducted a point. This outstretched fingers to the face bs has got to stop and until fighters get penalized appropriately, it will continue. How unfortunate for Glover and us mma fans.

How do you be a 7 year sherdog poster and still make shit threads when you don't know shit?

How do you be that?

He was rocked left and right...give the guy a break

I don't know but you should definitely reach out to his coaches and let them know

He's old and dont have fast enough reflexes to defend against AG's lightning fast strikes.
