Has a fighter ever rode solo into a fight without a corner/cutman?

Could a fighter just go be alone in a fight, kind of like how you can represent yourself in court?

BJ Penn may as well have

Anderson had his sons in his corner when he fought DC

As the saying goes: the man who represents himself in court has a fool for a client.

Can't answer about the corner, but I think cutmen are provided by commission or UFC

No but a couple of fighters have had there girlfriends or wife's corner them.

Cornermen are useless anyway. Ive never seen someone follow their cornermen's directions, except maybe for Wonderboy who got a KO that way.

You are not paying attention or have only watched a couple fights, maybe on tuf

Both of those things are ok, but your comment was dumb

Not that I know of but Ronda Rousey and Travis Browne go into fights with negative corner men

I always thought that would be cool. Come out by yourself and with no crap on. Just trunks and gloves.

Cody Mckenzie walked out with one corner guy, no banner or sponsors and white nike shorts that had pockets and a tag still on them

Dude just didn't give a fuck lol

Fighters have years and years of practice that gives them a huge amount of muscle memory, and this memory is much more instantaneous and effective than listening to someone's advices. If you have to be listening to someone else to tell you how to fight, you're a shit fighter in the first place.

You've apparently never seen a Jackson/Wink fighter.

Can't tell if you're a good troll, or just have no idea what you're talking about.

Mighty mouse takes extensive advice during the fights from his corner and its hard to say he iis a shit fighter. A lot of them do during grappling exchanges and such. I do not think you know what you are talking about whatsoever.

Obviously ytou cant wait for your corner to say duck that punch when the punch is coming at you. That is instinct although even then you could hear your corner say he throws a cross behind a double jab. So when you see the double jab you know the cross is coming and to duck it.
