In what world(sport) be a guy whos never had a single match in that sport be considered potential threat for the king of that sport

If anything, boxing community should be ashamed of themselves for considering a 0-0 boxer having any chance against 49-0
 
I mean the media discussed Mayweather vs Rousey without combusting on the spot from the bullshit so why the hell not?
 
No one in boxing thinks it's competitive what so ever, most hate it but understand the business aspect. Apart from Skip who's a professional Floyd hater. I cannot wait for the absolute schooling Floyd puts on Conor and cements in the minds of casuals and dumb fuck MMA fans the difference between elite level boxing and elite level boxing in MMA.

With that said you should put in more effort to figure out how to get your MMA fighters paid fairly. We have NON-PPV boxers getting paid more then Stipe the UFC HW Champs LMFAO. Dana is going to take half of Conor's pay lmfao, Floyd will keep all of his other than taxes.

Nobody in the boxing community thinks he has a chance, I can assure you. They're mostly getting ready to laugh at MMA when he gets decimated.

yea against a low level fighter....not against the MW champion.

Conor can go box if he wants, so can you and so can I. We start at the bottom or near the bottom and work our way up.

Now its understanable a pro MMA fighter that has combat experience and knows how to box as part of the overall skill set would not start at rock bottom....but fighting Floyd on your debut.....

Normally, a fight with this type of disparity of skill would not even be sanctioned in boxing. The only reason that the corrupt NSAC is willing to let McGregor fight is because of the money that fight would inject into the local economy.


BTW which sport was it where a 0-0 fighter pushing 50 KO'd a guy who had been world champ in the top promotion just two years earlier?

IIRC, they couldn't get a Boxing match sanctioned, but they could arrange it in MMA, and they agreed to fight as though it were a Boxing match.
 
Boxing isn't talking about this fight, MMA media is banging the drum for it for this exact, lame reason - If it happens, no matter what, dorks believe it's a win for MMA TO JUSTBE ACKNOWLEDGED BY MAYWEATHER

Boxing has actively tried to forget Mayweather.

Also, nobody in boxing thinks McGregor is a threat to anybody, that's you guys
