The Ultimate Fighting Championship could be part of Twitter’s live video plans in the near future.

In a recent interview with Buzzfeed News, Twitter COO and CFO Anthony Noto revealed the company’s intentions to have a constant presence of live video content on the platform, including sports, news and entertainment.

"We will definitely have 24/7 [video] content on Twitter," Noto told Buzzfeed. "Our goal is to be a dependable place so that when you want to see what's happening, you think of going to Twitter.”

In 2016, Twitter offered live streaming of 10 Thursday night NFL games. Amazon outbid Twitter for the streaming rights for the NFL for 2017, shelling out $50 million for 10 Thursday games. However, the NFL may have paved the way for other organizations, including the UFC, to air video on the platform.

"We have a really big audience when there's a pay-per-view UFC match,” Noto said. “Should we provide that content to the audience on Twitter that's not watching it, but might like to after seeing tweets about it? That's something we'd consider.”

Twitter is going down. It's not the social media giant it almost was. Probably a good place to air MM fights.

Thats not the problem.

The problem is that the Twitter use age base is shrinking. Now its all about K-PoP stars and #JustinBieber that get high tweets.
