Obviously this is just Manuwa's account of things, but he says Dana seems interested in the fight and that it could happen later this year.

Why do MMA fighters want to get destroyed in a boxing ring so bad?

Manuwa has zero chance against Haye in a boxing match. What is he thinking?

Great ...

Another fuckin mma fighter wants to leave the octagon because he's afraid of what awaits him there. These ppl don't want to honour contracts. And make demands about who they fight.

Is Conor still such a great thing for the UFC ?

GTFO !

Manuwa is a can with a right hand in a can-division.
How the fuck can Dana agree to this? Wanna thin out LHW more or what?

brosephina, they want muuuunnnnnnnnnyyyyyyyyyyssssssss, and this is what Conor is doing and he is presently the paradigm of celebrity in fight sport.
What, did you you wanna see him get wrestle fucked and blasted by Cormier? Nobody's interested in that fight other than Cormier, who should really be seeking more ambitious challenges before his career expires.

It pays better to be a one hitter quitter in boxing than being in the top 5 of your respective division in the UFC apparently.

Why not make somewhat of a name for yourself in the UFC, negotiate your way into a relatively high profile boxing match, accept that you're the "B-side" and boom. You get like 5 years worth of winnings in one fight and if you have half a brain, invest that and quit getting punched in the head for a paycheck.

Dana being on board, even tentatively is what makes this weird to me.

Manuwa would do better in the octagon than in the boxing ring.
Humiliation is the only thing that awaits him if he chooses boxing.
Delusional & stupid is a bad combination.

Didn't Haye just tear his achilles tendon in his last fight

A Haye fight wouldn't even make Manuwa much money. No one in the UK knows who Jimi Manuwa is.
