Could WME have other plans for Fight Pass?

I know they have beefed up the non-ufc org events; but the ufc exclusive events have been the worst I can remember them being in terms of amount and card quality (only one so far in 2017).

Do you think they will have any plans for the subscription in the future? Or is this the new status quo moving forward?

FightPass will be the platform WME to spread it's reality TV shows and movies featuring UFC "stars."

Would love to see more exclusive cards on Fight Pass.

So far Manawa vs Corey Anderson has been the only one in 2017. I can't tell when the next one is; Holm vs Betch in Singapore? I can't tell if thats FS1 or fightpass. If it is FS1 there is a huge gap between events.

Thanks their official websites fightpass calendar doesn't quiet show that far in advance and wikipedia nor the poster indicated where it would be airing.

2 UFC events in the first half of 2017. I'd have to check after work to see how that stacks up with other 6 month blocks on the network. It was starting to look like they were content with just having the other org's be the content if Singapore wasn't on it.

It's a perfect avenue to push younger prospects. So i'm sure it's not a priority because those guys aren't draws yet.

They want fightpass to be the home for combat sports in general.

A lot of people feel Fightpass is the way to access MMA media in the future of TV.

Many don't think in 20 years form now we'll have cable/satellite packages like we do today. The way you get media in a nutshell will be one big ass streaming Netflix style system. Your already seeing it today with companies offering like 30 of the most popular TV channels all being streamed. Amazon prime and Netflix continue to grow massively.

Fightpass will be massive for WME in the future and will change drastically in the next decade.

Yeah the amount of live cards is pretty disappointing. I mostly just use it for the prelims. I watch a little of the other content.

Overall it's probably not really worth it to me, but for $7-8/mo, I don't really care. Had it since the start.

Once or twice they've offered a discount on PPVs. Wish they did that a lot more.

I rarely was able to use it for the prelims even because I watch all the ppvs at the bar. So to stick around home to watch the internet prelims it meant I was going to miss out on a couple of the normal prelims while traveling to the bar showing the ppv.

Fight Pass sucks. I mainly use it for Invicta.

The early prelims are a waste of time. Most of the time it's unknown fighters, but even worse is that they start so early I'm not even ready to watch them.

If the reality tv shit is going to be their focus, I'll be sure to cancel next year.
