Okay, this thread was a bit difficult to name but I think the title captures the essence of this game:

Let's try to find the most weight classes spanning victory links we can. Any weight over 265lbs will be rounded to 265 which is the heavyweight limit in the UFC.

Example: Kevin Burns 170lbs defeated Frank Mir 262lbs in 6 years through 3 fights.
Kevin Burns (170lbs) TKO Anthony Johnson (170lbs) 2009
Anthony Johnson (205lbs) DEC Andrei Arlovski (205lbs) 2013
Andrei Arlovski (241lbs) DEC Frank Mir (262lbs) 2015

As you see, I found a victory link that spans 92lbs and 3 fights in a matter of 6 years. Can you beat me? Priority goes # of lbs first, # of fights second and # of years last. The fewer fights you have to accomplish as much of a weight difference as you can, the better. The less time it takes, the better. If someone finds a victory link that is identical to mine in weight difference, but happened in one less year, he wins. If it happened in 2 fights instead of 3, he wins. That's how the game works. Now let's see who comes up with the biggest link. If you can keep it in the UFC only, all the better. My example has a WSOF fight but you guys can do better!

Took me 5 minutes to come up with my example so I'm sure some very educated MMA fans can quickly remember fighters that went up in weight classes and possibly elongated the victory link of another fighter.

When posting your findings, do as in my example and hotlink the lines to the appropriate fights for checking.

SCOREBOARD (will update based on user posts and link to them):
#1: WeirdFacts - Kevin Burns x Frank Mir - 92lbs - 3 fights - 6 years. NOT ALL UFC
#2: Bmurray - Zulu x Dan Henderson - 58lbs - 2 fights - 5 years 7 months. NOT ALL UFC.

Hendo WON Shogun so it doesn't count. The point you have to make in the game is to bring a long victory streak from as low as possible to as high as possible. If Shogun had lost to Hendo you could say:

Zulu 400lbs lost to Fedor (230lbs or something) who lost to Hendo at HW, who then lost to Shogun at MM.
Ergo: Zulu 400lbs lost to Shogun 185lbs in 3 fights spanning 8.25 years. But Hendo didn't lose to shogun so you lose some poundage on that. Still a good pick though, Zulu -> Hendo @ HW. But its still just a HW losing to a HW. Maybe we should keep this inside the UFC or at least prioritize that.

Fedor was 235, Zulu 390 and Henderson against Fedor was 207lbs. Zulu 390lbs lost to a guy weighin 207lbs. You get 183lbs in 2 fights and 5 years 7 months. Very good but we will then apply that the maximum weight should be 265lbs taking 125lbs off your score (390-265) leaving you with 58lbs of difference.

I guess I should have preferred the length of the link more than the weight difference.. I expect this thread to be full of replies like this now haha. What fight is this by the way?

Easy......I can do it in 1 fight

Daiju Takase vs Emmanuel Yarbrough.

183lbs vs 600+. Takase was outweighed by 430lbs

So....I found a victory link spanning 1 fight and the biggest difference in mma ever. I win

Jun 24, 1998, Yarborough 600+lbs lost to Takase 183lbs
Dec 16, 2000, Takase 155lbs lost to Fabiano Iha 155lbs.
Jun 29, 2001 Fabiano Iha 155lbs lost to Caol Uno 155lbs
Sep 7, 2005 Caol Uno 155lbs lost to Norifumi Yamamoto 155lbs (Hero's lightweight tournament is 155lbs right?)
February 5, 2011 Norifumi Yamamoto 135lbs lost to Demetrious Johnson 135lbs.

Damn.. If DJ ever loses in Flyweight we can continue this list but I think we have arrived to the best result there can be? Maybe there is some quicker way to get through the 155lbs than my list because I had to pick 3 fights to get to Bantamweight. It's all there though.

465lbs through 5 fights in 12 years 7.5 months.

600+lbs guy lost to Demetrious Johnson 135lbs. Now we just wait for DJ to lose...

Oh, I've got a good one. How about:

Kid Yamamoto, 135, beat Caol Uno on Sept 7, 2005.

Caol Uno, 145, beat Rich Clementi on March 15, 2006.

Rich Clementi, 170, beat Anthony Johnson on Sept 22, 2007.

Anthony Johnson, 205, beat Arlovski on March 23, 2013.

Arlovski, 241, beat Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva, 264 pounds, on September 13, 2014.

That's 129 pounds over 5 fights and 9 years.

Great find! And I love it because it's actually a link without any 400+lbs fat unathletic monsters. Legit link!

Using Rich Clementi you can just about connect anyone from a lower weight class to the heavyweights.
