There was news today in the NBA that the commissioner is looking to have a female head coach sometime soon.

MMA seems to be ahead of the curve when it comes to equality for the genders but are there any female coaches of male fighters?
 
Only one I know is the boxer James Kirkland with Ann Wolfe.
 
I can't imagine an owner in the NBA giving a flying F that Silver wants that.

Kos had a female boxing coach for a bit.

Agreed. It's completely up to the owner of a team. The NBA commissioner doesn't have a say in that.
