His passion is more in MMA than boxing, hence why he became a MMA fighter in the first place. He isn't gonna stick around and pursue a full-time career in boxing, not even if he pulls off a miracle and KO's Floyd. He wouldn't be able to anyway, since the UFC would still have him under contract and wouldn't allow it.

There's no such thing as fair in combat sports - big money fights will be made when possible. There are numerous hurdles to making this fight but a giant pot of gold at the end and the 3 parties involved would sell their own mother for a dollar. There's a chance it happens - tons of casual fan interest for this fight.
