Mainly because they are biased striking fanboys who will call Holm and Nunes "real fighters" (ie. strikers) and Tate, Zingano and Davis (who have beaten them) "soccer moms" or "cans". And of course Cyborg whose strength of schedule is not 1/5 as good as Ronda's and has only fought one top level fighter in her career is considered a more legit fighter than Ronda because she strikes.

"Striking is real fighting, grappling is not real fighting" is the typical Ronda hater's motto.

The truly impressive thing about Rousey is how little time the spent in the octagon : all those 14 fights (including 10 title fights) lasted less than 27 minutes combined. Yes, less than two minutes longer than a title fight that goes the distance.
