UFC are entitled to the square root of nothing from Conor's venture in to the sweet science. 'But the UFC made him' - Really? If the UFC has the recipe for super stardom in their cookbook then explain why they haven't baked more than one f**king cake? GTFO. Conor would still be the biggest star in combat sports today if he had signed with Bellator.

You could say the same for Chuck Liddell, Ronda and any one ever in the UFC that got some mainstream shine.

Is true.
UFC doesn't know shit about building stars.

Inb4 crackbaby, butthurt salt miners come in in an attempt to discredit Conor, but make themselves look mentally challenged in the process.

Then why did nobody talk about him before signing with the UFC?

Conor did build himself but the UFC has to give him the opportunities to do so. They could of easily not let him fight for the 155 title and become double champ. So it was a little of both.

Keep riding Connor's dick. You think you're doing him a service by defending him, but you fangirls are just making it worse

UFC made Connor and he's literally biting the dick that feeds him.

UFC built him and they haven't built more stars as big as him because they aren't that interested in money and can't be bothered.

The recipe for cake calls for more than a single ingredient.

That explains why they put him up against guys like:
scrimmage
hideaway
pointier
seaver, et al

He didn't get his first real test against a well-rounded fighter who could test his previously exploited weaknesses (defensive grappling and submission defense) until a short-notice mendez. Good on him for beating all of his opposition, and knocking out aldo, but to pretend that the ufc wasn't giving him favourable matchups in the hopes of him winning and becoming popular is purely asinine.

UFC built him and they haven't built more stars as big as him because they aren't that interested in money and can't be bothered.

They've tried and failed. Mc-g combined his talents and bombastic persona with the continuous coverage and favourable matchups he was given. It was a symbiotic relationship.

The UFC gave Conor the platform to reach all of you insecure desperate fanboys.

The fact that you have put him on a pedestal, is your issue.

LOL. GTFO. conor would be a plumber if it hadn't been for the ufc. you're a goof, they did make him.

he's biting the hand that feeds him. normally that wouldn't bother me with the way the ufc treats the fighters, but since they handed this idiot the keys to the kingdom it's a fair statement.

In a hypothetical world where Conor signs with Bellator, he'd still be very popular. He'd quickly become a huge prospect, especially if he won two belts like he did in Cage Warriors. He'd get to the UFC eventually, and he'd come in like he did before but with even more hype, fan interest and he'd probably get a title shot after a fight. Like a more successful version of David Branch.

There would be no Conor McGregor is he couldn't fight and promote by himself.

I actually agree, while he couldnt have gotten to this level of popularity without the UFC medium, he absolutely promoted himself far more than the UFC did. If the UFC knew how to promote stars they'd have more than one right now.

The UFC gave him a large platform, but that's about it. He had to win fights, give interviews to everyone who wanted one and just promoted like a mad man. No matter the promotion, Conor McGregor would be well known and would have a large, loyal fan base.

No stars in the UFC are self made. It's a combination between the fighter and organization. McGregor had the skills, results and charisma for the UFC to push. McGregor ran with it.

Nate Diaz is tailor made to get destroyed by Conor. Chin out, plodding forward. All he wants to do is bang. The fact that he strangled him is a real red flag for me.
