This is such a shitty rule. let's just have the top fighters fight each other three times, and then let's stop...what?

The fuck are you talking about?

it's not a rule. it's the marketplace doing what marketplaces do.

commie.

Hell yeah, they should just fight the same fighter 25 times and make their entire career out of it.

Usually takes 3 fights to resolve who's best

Sometimes it takes more. Like Pacquiao and Marquez

If we can get barnburners like Wonderboy/Woodley 2 over and over, I'm in...

Three fights is enough to determine that either (a) one fighter has the other's number, or (b) the fights aren't exciting enough to warrant a fourth matchup(with a few exceptions, of course).

Sometimes 2 is more than enough. (Woodley Thompson 3 would cause suicides)

I personally wouldnt mind seeing certain fights a 4th time like JDS vs Cain, however, people generally get disinterested after the rubber match

Yeah like TENNIS, those fans get bored with another Djokovic vs Federer ? NO, the best fighters should fitgh 5 times

Some fighters only fight each other once... or not at all. Oh the horror!

Damn, I don't even think Travis Fulton fought the same guy more than 3 times. I think TS is right.
