Now im ready for the flame im gonna get for this but i for one honestly dont care about belts.. im a fan of mma and just appreciate good fights..i watch for good fights and big fights and alot of the time people get screwed in order for that to happen and im fine with that because at the end lf the day we as fans win with these amazing matchups and the ufc knows damn well you might complain but your still gonna but it...

Id agree with you..except the best fighters in each division aren't fighting each other lol. They're all just looking at paydays and are ducking each other.

Thanks UFC.

CM Punk should get a title shot next.

yup. bs. it's like a popularity contest. super talented fighters who put in a LOT of work and put together win streaks etc are getting hosed.

Jesus Christ. The belt/ranking system is designed to set up "good fights and amazing matchups." It (should) tell us where the fighters generally stand in relation to each other. It (should) protect against fuckery like the CM Punk situation.

Two loud, mic-friendly personalities don't necessarily make a great matchup. This isn't WWE (yet).

This was always going to happen. It was either bisping or conor. Someone was going to get screwed over. GSP is a big draw and if they hold the event in canada then that equals big business for the UFC.

GSP/Bisping isn't a good fight, but a cash grab from everyone involved. Conor vs RDA/Eddie were fun fights on paper. Condit/Lawler and DC/Gus as well. They should do it right.

It could have, and should have been against winner of Woodley/WB.
185 and 155 make no sense for GSP

Also, the belts don't matter for fans, but they do matter for fighters. Champions make champion money. If you keep fucking with fighter money then why would anyone want to fight? Look at all the fighters that have wanted to, or pondered getting out of the UFC. That isn't good for the future of the sport.
