Often fighters who continue fighter after the bell (or illegal move) say it was not intentional but heat of the moment. On the other side there are fighters very aware of the moment. List your top fighters on both sides...

In no order for respectful fighters:

1. Machida, examples include against Bader, Munoz, Couture
2. Hunt, multiple walk off KOs
3. Marquardt against Maia

"heat of the moment" fighters:

1. Palhares
2. de Randamie against Holm
3. Hendo against Bisping

Bonus random vid:

Shogun missing the follow up punch on Te Huna.

Hell even Shogun knocking out Machida, he got up as soon as Machida was KO'd.

^^^^^This. The ref didnt stop that fight, Shogun did

Heat of the moment: Aldo on Mendes
I'd say Aldo vs Mendes 2 was far more heat of the moment than GDR vs Holly. At least as far as legitimate excuse is concerned.

Dan Henderson is to striking what Paul Harris is to submissions. He can't help but to get those extra shots, even he knows the opponent is stiff arm KO.

And yet dude is worshiped like a god.

Brian Stann for respectful. In his fight against Sakara, he stops punching and waits for the ref to step in as soon as he gets the KO.

Rampage should have been disqualified in the 3rd Wand fight. Beautiful counterpunch KO shot but he went ahead and hit him with two power GnP shots while the ref was attempting to rip him off of Wand, who was already unconscious from initial punch. It was pretty disgusting
