Why does Tyrone Woodley have an analyst gig if UFC is racist?

Doesn't really make sense to me, dude gets treated fairly well by UFC, gets gifted title shot, analyst gig and what not. I don't see the poor treatment Tyrone keeps crying about maybe someone can elaborate?

AFAIK, the UFC don't pick who the analysts are. Isn't it FOX Sports? Not sure though.

Tyron is either a delusional moron (for believing he's being mistreated due to his race) or a complete asshole (for exploiting race tensions to garner attention for the fight)

They hyped a Nate Marquardt fight in the prelims using the fight he lost by TKO to Nate while Tyron was the champ days before the Wonderboy fight

They wouldn't show Joe Duffy choking Conor for one of his prelim fights while Conor is in the same card for example.

CLEARLY RACISM. WHITE SUPREMACISTS.

Or, both.

Woodly is a genuis, hes using the racist angle to get people to get talk about him, its def working.

They are trying to expose how racist they are so they have to show him to the whole world to prove a point. hahaha. jk

Genius?

It's lazy, and will create a bad flow on effect in life.

It's not a good thing, and is far from genius.

The job as fight analyst is with FOX Sports1 not the UFC. Like him or not the man is articulate enough to get a coveted on air gig.

Is it genius, or shameless selling out under the guise of real issues? He's basically exploiting, and therefore lowering the validity of the issue itself by crying wolf.

“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”

To be fair, I don't think that the UFC owns the rights to the footage of Duffy strangling Conor.

Couldn't agree with you more. If his primary objective is to market himself in order to get those big paydays then Sherdog is evidence enough that it's working.....no shortage of Woodley threads lately. I don't want to say any press is good press, but his unlikability has never been higher and this is a sport where people get punched in the face......people will tune in.

As a fellow Missouri Tiger and STL resident, I'm pretty pissed the way he's handled himself lately speaking with the media. His life, his decisions, his conscience.
