I hope so but I am not so sure. I may be wrong about this but the french dont seem very nationalistic and thus might not care at all about one of their athletes being a champ in this sport. That is just my impression.
 
always had it, his first pro fight showed it and the Rizzo & Sylvia fights confirmed it. He's beat a lot of good fighters despite giving up durability. More skilled than most HW's including Ngannou.

hope Ngannou beats him with skill and not a bum rush since the latter shows absolutely nothing of his chances against the best.
