Why did Bellator name drop so many UFC fighters last night?

From the commentators mentioning UFC fighters to showing UFC fighters in attendance. Why was Bellator promoting their competitor? Does Dana have a mole in Bellator? Is there a snake in the organization?

Stop fearing Bellator, 2 successful MMA promotions is a great thing for the sport, the fans and the athletes. Look what Strikeforce did with their middleweight and heavyweight divisions. Now Bellator has built a great Featherweight, lightweight and welterweight division and their heavyweight division is developing nice as well.

But production made the decision to put the camera on UFC fighters and allowed the commentators to name drop UFC fighters all night.
