RDA will always be a former LW champ no matter what, and that's an even nicer feather in Khabib's fuzzy cap IMO. And Khabib beat him just 11 months before RDA won the title, so I think it's fair to say Khabib would've gotten a title fight a long time ago had he not been injured.

Anyone who argues that Khabib doesn't deserve a title shot is trolling or clueless. He was #1 contender before his injury, after he returned, and then again after his last fight. #1 contenders are meant to fight the champions, not more guys behind him in the rankings. That's why they're called #1 contenders...
