I think Khabib and Fergie is going to be a really good competitive scrap. As impressive as Khabib looked against Johnson I don't expect Ferguson to look as helpless as MJ did.
MJ has never had and ever will be good at BJJ. Ferguson on the other hand never gives up and will be comfortable and is skilled everywhere.
In 2017, there may be redemption for guys who fight from the bottom as scoring criteria has changed so it may be an even playing field as opposed to the ideology that if you're on botttom = you automatically lost the fight.
Of course, Khabib is much more than just a LnP'er himself, he's got concussive GnP, just like Ferguson isn't just a guy who is struggling and panicking like Michael Johnson, Ferguson attacks and he's got that snap down to the D'arce in his back pocket at any sloppy attempts to counter Khabib's wrestling, not to mention the striking in this matchup.
I don't expect to Khabib's wrestling to be-all end-all in this conversation. It's a guarantee to be a FOTN candidate however.
