Why would they co-promote with Invicta though? Seems like UFC can just take Invicta fighters as they please.

I don't know if it would be a PPV (definitely not a full priced one), but if they could somehow work it into a big fox card, it draws more interest to Invicta as a product and WMMA as a whole, and draws more people to a fightpass subscription. I like it.

I don't think the UFC would put that many stars on that kind of card. You could expect maybe one Invicta champ and that's probably it. Probably wouldn't be a PPV anyhow, maybe a FOX event. Using the Holm/GDR winner could be doable due to the situation with their division. Otherwise, they'd probably go with something like:

Evinger/Kunitskaya winner vs Julianna Pena
Raquel Pa'aluhi vs Bethe Correia
Mizuki Inoue vs Joanne Calderwood
