Aldo vs Yair

Yair unanimous decison. Would win very easily

Aldo. If Bruce Leeroy can nullify Yair, Aldo certainly can.

Yair's boxing is LOL

Aldo by knockout

Yair is only one fight away from a title shot

they will probably feed him Pettis next

Yair is still unproven and beating a 38 year old BJ Penn does not catapult his credibility onto the same sentence as Jose Aldo.

Over the next several months we'll find out what this kid is made of as he faces tougher and stiffer competition.

From what we've seen thus far, his kicking game is next level and the kid is always in pursuit of the finish. But as a result of his aggression, he has a tendency to leave openings, openings which a technical and an experienced striker, such as Aldo, would be able to exploit.

A few hard counter shots and his fancy kicking game may become marginalized. On top of that, add to the fact that Aldo has some of the hardest and most lethal leg kicks in MMA history and the cards shift even more in favor of the Brazilian champ.

From what we've seen, outside of a monstrous kick (which is always a possibility in a fight), Jose Aldo should win soundly (at this point).

Aldo would win any way he wanted to. He's better absolutely everywhere, by a significant margin.

Yair is distinctly average. Aldo would KO him while he was jumping through mid air.

Aldo will shut down that fancy kicking game and beat Yair like a child.

any fighter in the top 5 could look like yair if they want to....but their fight IQ is too high to be that careless

Yair is a loose cannon right now. He's dangerous but wild. Kind of reminds me of young Jon Jones.

His biggest problem right now is his boxing. It's pretty fucking terrible most of the time. But he's still young. His striking is getting sharper and I imagine it'll continue to do so.

Aldo. If Bruce Leeroy can nullify Yair, Aldo certainly can.
He didn´t nullify him.. Yair beat him pretty easy. Derek Cleary fucked up the scoring on that one.. Oh and something about the Salt Lake altitude.

I agree, someone lile Lando Vanatta could capitalize.
Would be a great fight, btw.

Conor...oh wait...this isn't a hater thread...

Aldo with ease
