A lot of people tend to dislike him because he is fat and uncharismatic, but if we are 100% rational and analytical he's got one of the best resumes and overall skillset in MMA history. Not too many people can put on that murderer's row

Alexander Gustaffson
Rumble Johnson
Josh Barnett
TRT Bigfoot Silva
Frank Mir
Anderson Silva

In comparison, GSP's resume looks rather lackluster, beating Condit and Jake Shield is not nearly as impressive as beating any of these fighters

As someone who thinks DC is cool, by "Fact", in fact, you mean "opinion".

Jones is a cheat so he should not be included in this discussion.

All DC needs to do now is beat Rumble again, which he can do, beat Jones on his comeback, beat Jones again in the rubber match then retire. HOF

Not to mention he has a lws reach, and he went undefeated at hw

I have DC over Jones given all the asterisks attached to Jon's career

GSP has beat:-

Hendricks
Diaz
Condit
Koscheck
Alves
Hughes
BJ
Fitch

Those are some of the best fighters of all time.

The hype behind Cormier is unreal. His best opponents at HW were ranked around number 8 when they fought him. And he beat 3 ranked heavyweights. He beat 2 ranked LHWs,Rumble and Gustafsson...and he had a tough and close split decision with Alex.

Anderson Silva? Is that a joke? A middleweight,41 years old, with TWO DAYS notice?

Ahead of Jones and Fedor. LEL.

Jones is proven cheater in more ways than one. He is VOID from being "The" all time great. Cormier's resume is ridiculously impressive considering he could have been champ at HW as well, something Jones is terrified of trying.

Eye pokes, cocaine, PED's, hiding under the gym cage from USADA: Farthest fucking thing from the greatest fighter of all time.

Nobody respected his tournament.

Different epochs, comparisons are moot.

Never fought simultaneously during their peaks. Please do not compare.

He didn't look good against a timid Silva, and many of his wins have been lackluster.

In other words, you have to be kidding.

Take Jones out of the equation and DC is still not a Top 5 all time fighter in any division he's competed in in MMA. His cross divisional success is not enough to put him above long time dominant champs and quite a few other legends imo.

For something like this discussion ability can't trump resume to that degree. I hold him in high regard ability-wise, absolutely one of the best to grace the sport, potential better with an earlier start in MMA. The reality of his resume is that it's good on paper but lacking in dominant title defenses, ranked wins, impact on the sport, and other key facets leading to it not being top 10 let alone top 3. That's not an insult being outside of the top 10 as far as I'm concerned.

Also, I actually think it's a benefit to be undersized at HW. You have better cardio, and speed than most

Fedor benefited from being a powerful, yet undersized HW in terms of his height, and frame. He was faster than most HW's, he could grapple better than most HW's, and he had HW power. When you have HW power, or great speed, you can go far in the HW division at a smaller size.

Again, Cormier's fight against Silva exposed a lot of deficiencies in his game that can be exploited by more determined fighters.

Silva has Nick Diaz syndrome. He doesn't have a second gear, and if his opponent doesn't come right at him and create angles, then he doesn't have much else to offer.
