Hughes was washed up and getting knocked out by everyone.

The Fitch fight was worth something but this gif is better IMO.

I didn't forget them, but they were also 3-4 years before he retired and he still had some quality wins after that. Way to try to discredit the guy though.
 
I don't think Penn can compete with the best today. The standard has changed.
