anyone have experiences with bookmaker.eu, bovada.lv and 5dimes? i am from the states... which would you prefer from your experience and if you win do they put your winnings in your bank account? or send you a check? i was reading 5dimes payout and they mentioned 80$ fees to send you a check if you win? i couldnt really understand it. does any of these sites put the winnings in your account instead of sending a check? also, has anyone used bitcoins on these sites and was the payouts more simple this way? any help would be appreciated. thanks

reason im asking is because penn said to put everything on the line on him....

I've used bovada and 5 times. Bovada is somewhat easier to cash out because 5dimes makes u send copy of a bill, license, credit card statement. Once you send the info 5 dimes it's very easy to western union the money. I'd look to see which site has better odds (you can check without adding money).

5dimes and using Western Union. I believe Mondays are still free payouts on 5dimes.

Just drive to Vegas and bet the house house on Penn

does bovada put the winnings in your bank account or send you a check? do you still have to send 5dimes copy of bill, license and credit card statement even if you're not using a credit card? obviously, to put money down you would have to give them your bank info...is the bank info not enough to get the western union payout?... i saw in their site something about a $80 fee for a money order tranfer? is this the fee for the western union?

I've used all of those except for bovada which is not allowed in vegas (where i live). 5 dimes does have a $50 fee to get a check sent to you part of the reason for this is that they don't want you to cash your money out, bookies hate that although most site offer 1 free check payout per month on avg. What I recommend is using bitcoin. You can deposit money via bitcoin at a minimum of $25 on 5dimes, you can withdraw any amount you want and usually only takes like 30 mins or less, this method also has basically no fees. Also, why give your bookmaker your credit card info to send money when you can use a more anonymous/safe method like bitcoin. Best of luck

I've used 5dimes before, would have to pick up my winnings (cash) at a moneygram.

5 dimes still has you send them your ID and personal info to cash out via any method, even bitcoin. I kinda hate that but it is what it is

I do 5dimes and payout through coin base.

When you try to cash out that's when they'll ask you for a credit card authorization where you'll need to send them signed documents that contain all your personal info (SS,DL#,etc) and scans of your cc and ID. They won't ask for any of this until you want your money.

When you do a payout via bit coin it takes a while the first time, but once it's setup it's really easy. It may take a day or two to initially setup your bit coin account since you need to verify it and link it to your onshore bank account.

Cashing out via check just never seemed worth it since bit coin came out because of the fees.

I set limits on my betting accounts. Regret it SO much now, as I can't bet everything I have on BJ Penn.

It may not help you for tonight's event because of time constraints, but find a local bookie with a website. Most gambling sites offer MMA betting and it is MUCH MUCH MUCH simpler and better than 5Dimes, Bovada, etc.

5Dimes are absolute scum. I have 2 friends that were stiffed by 5Dimes and not even given their deposits back. 5 Dimes stiffed because the players were winners. I used to love 5Dimes ten years ago, but they have lost a lot of credibility in recent years. I haven't heard any horror stories from Bovada except their lines/odds are terrible and there are fees when you deposit or cashout. I have no experience with bookmaker.eu, so they may be ok.

Honestly though, finding someone local who takes sports action is 10x better than any of the sites where you have to use credit card, bitcoin, Paypal, etc. I gamble my ass off on MMA and believe me, local bookmakers are going to serve you better than 5Dimes or Bovada.

If you are going to put everything on Penn, it would be easier for you if you just throw your money in the toilet

If you're interested in setting up a bitcoin wallet for your online betting. I highly recommend this;

hey thanks a lot. i think this bitcoin thing is the best way to go. im very new to bitcoins and plan on doing some research on it.... its weird why 5dimes want all your info even if you cash out with bitcoin. does bookmaker and bovada ask for all your personal info as well when cashing out?
i have a feeling if u bet on bj penn , u might not need a cashout option
you have to understand that bj penn fans are delusional just as much as bj penn.
I just bet $20,000.00 on Penn
see what i mean

is the time constraints for the local bookie or these websites? so i cant bet on the day of the event? this would be my first time betting and i have no clue where to even go to find a local bookie. which sites would you recommend?

damn, it sucks to hear that about your friends. i dont think ill do 5dimes because its weird they would want all your personal info even when you cash out with bitcoins

A few questions:

1. What city/state do you live in?
2. How much are you trying to bet?
3. Is driving to Nevada to place wagers an option?

Stay away from 5Dimes!

Local bookie can set you up in minutes. The time constraints mean it may take you some time to find a local bookie. If you had a local bookie, you could bet right away. Poker games, horse track, dog track, casinos are all great places to find a local book.
