Can the UFC put a bigger event than Joshua/Klitschko in 2017?

This fight is supposed to be in front of 90k people and 2 million PPV buys in the UK



I think the UFC can top it with a Conor + Ronda or Jones stacked MSG card thats being held next November.

If Jones wins LHW belt and goes to HW for a superfight, and Ronda moves up to 145 to fight Cyborg, it will be the biggest UFC ever.

Nope, Not even in their dream. Their highest sold PPV is UFC 202 ( 1.3 million) thus far & the proposed card can extend it to 1.5~1.6. But it will get no where the hype 1996 olympic winner vs 2012 olympic winner are getting. .
 
Putting more title fights on a card doesn't help it sell more. It's a waste to put Jones on a Conor card.

Ronda with the right opponent is an exception, she brings a different fanbase

Conor with the right opponent and Ronda vs the right opponent + good marketing can near 2 mil.

JUSt fill the rest of the card with nondraws
 
Love how people constantly doubt the reported UFC PPV numbers but swallow the reported boxing ones as fact.
 
I live in England and can tell you now that fight is doing no where near 2 million buys here and that is a fact.
 
It's not gonna do 2 mil PPV buys. Put that pipe down.

The thread and this reply is bullshit, Joshua-Klitschko won't get 2 million buys, it'll get around 1 million in the UK where the PPVs are 10 bucks.

1.4-1.6 million buys with $60 price >>>>>>>> 1.1-1.2 million for $10-15

Hatton did half of that how is Joshua/Klitchko doing 2mil? When you combine that with the fact that UK PPV is like $20 compared to $60 in the US, they would have to sell about 4.5 mil to come close to the amount of revenue the highest selling UFC fight.

You don't get how to work out currency do you.
If the ppv card was £7 then there might well be 2m buys but of course they're not.
TS is about as right as you are which is impressive, congratulations.
 
Uk PPV buys are of course a little different than in the US, we don't have as much of a culture of friends coming together to spilt the cost so individual boxing PPV's tend to be quite a bit cheaper.
 
Unless it's a Conor and Rousey co headliner they won't do bigger than that.

There are not that many cucks in the UK that will pay to watch Joshua represent them. Joshua doesn't look very British.

Sorry I don't know the currency of some tiny island, still not even close to the same price as US PPV.
 
conor vs anyone is automatically THE BIGGEST EVENT
nothing else matters when it's conor mcgregor vs ....
