The Blue Gol event, aimed at drawing people's attention to autism, organized by former players Savio and Romario, reached its third edition in 2016.


Romario he is regarded as one of the greatest forwards of all time. He starred for Brazil in their 1994 FIFA World Cup triumph, receiving the FIFA Golden Ball as player of the tournament. He was named FIFA World Player of the Year the same year. He came fifth in the FIFA Player of the Century and was named in the FIFA 100 list of the world's greatest living players.

Savio played most of his professional career in Spain – being a part of Real Madrid's setup during four and a half seasons.
