Maybe possibly in the US? But globally no sport will EVER be bigger than football (soccer).

Hasn't he been claiming MMA to be the fastest growing sport in the world for like 10 years
 
I know a couple people that gave up there UFC 206 tickets for tomorrow night and are going to the Toronto FC MLS Cup final game instead.
 
MLS is not soccer. Nobody gives a fuck about MLS.

Soccer is the biggest sport worlwide period. Nothing else is close.
