Boxing rules state fighters must be close shaven or wearing a moustache - it's from the olden days with little relevance now but their main objection was if it's long enough to grab, it's too long.

As for Big Country's beard, well if he fights in Ontario, he'll likely face the same issue.

This beard is nothing, I cant believe they are doing this. Is this the UFC or the Athletic Commission? That is past the point where it is even prickly, more fluffy and soft. A lot of grapplers purposely have prickly stubble to annoy opponents when their chin is rubbing on their body (no homo) in places like their neck to gain a better position. Example, Damian Maia is never clean shaven.
