The pattern here is clear. A strawman is built that purports to represent a Colon "hater". The poster usually thinks that the "haters" will fall for the trap and that they will be able to prove their point: that there is irrational hatred against Colon.

But what usually happens? The Colon fangirl responsible for the thread is called out due to the idiocy of the thread and it is the other Colon fangirls who fall for the trap and are ridiculed by other users.
