How did Bellator get rid of him again?

Lmao

This is nothing new, just further confirmation that he is indeed a money hungry slimeball. It's like the fighters who buddied up with him didn't do ANY research.

How did Bellator get rid of him again?

Viacom bought them out and soon after sent him packing to Mexico. Now we're finding out what he's been up to, which has definitely been an interesting part of this MMAAA saga.

A money hungry slimeball? You'd think he and Dana would be besties under different circumstances.

Why would they include Bjjorn? Without him, and GSP leading, everyone would be on board.

Bjork's effort is backed by CAA. They are his new 'investors'.

Bjork is trying to cheat his way to a pay off. Anti-trust case is his way in.

CAA is trying to fuck with the UFC.

<{danayeah}>

They need someone from 'the other side'.
He's the best 'advisor' they can hope for. He's also a trained lawyer.

My theory: This dude wants this association thing to pull through so that a stronger case for the Ali Act can be made so that he can dip his grimy hands back into promoting so he can put on high profile fights and make bank. He comes from boxing. This is what he wants. If he gave a shit about the athletes he wouldn't have tried to railroad countless fighters in his time.

This isn't fucking news to anyone who followed Bellator or what happened with that org. You know it's bad when the Baldfather calls someone a slimeball and he ain't exactly wrong.

They said they need his guidance to tell him how the ufc would act,but i agree if he is going to be involved keep him in the background, you dont have him own/control the website and speak

Bjorn has straight up said his contracts and how he operated Bellator was the same as the UFC. It absolutely destroys his credibility from a moral standpoint but he does know how it all works.

Agreed. Feels like 70% of this has been directed towards Bjorn. He's the face.

This is turning into a mess, everyone from shady promoters to parasitic lawyers wants a share of the pie, who knows there might be a few scraps leftover for the fighters when it gets resolved years from now.

Hardly surprising the part about Rebney. When we heard he wasn't being paid for his efforts with the MMAAA it sent alarm bells ringing. Were we supposed to think he had just done a character u-turn and developed integrity and altruism all of a sudden?

yes it was laughable, gsp and co need to kick him to the kerb

no, Bjorn was a much dirtier version of the UFC. He would send separate contracts to fighters and their agents. He woud send the agent a friendlier version of the contract so he would talk the fighter into signing the bad contract. UFC might play hard ball(like most businesses) but they don't play dirty when it comes to negotiating contracts.

"The letter sent to the MMAAA from Eric Cramer and Michael Dell'Angelo of Berger & Montague, Benjamin Brown and Richard Koffman of Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll, and Joseph Saveri, obtained by Bloody Elbow, states that Rebney and others involved with MMAAA met with them a year ago, asking to be part of the antitrust lawsuit and wanting a share of the potential payout."
