I truly feel this fight happens in 2017 or 2018. GSP wants at least 1 more money fight before ending it all.

What? He's always been considered a big ww which is one of the reasons Anderson vs gsp was the fight people talked about

GSP isn't the largest WW but he is pretty well muscled at 170. Georges could make 155 assuming he isn't adverse to cutting that much and would need time to lose some muscle mass. Why would GSP go down? Why not have McGregor go up? Conor can't claim to be a 3 division champ if they fight at 155. Or does McG get all of GSPs WW glory if he beat him at LW?

to me, conor vs gsp @170 makes the most sense. and cents. Huge numbers. if conor wins, business as usual. opening things up for a shot at the WW belt ( woodley v wonder boy 2 would be settled by then). Or continue on with the LW division. st pierre could either retire or stick around for super fights. Gsp wins, still great for the ufc. probably better than a conor win. easy to sell a loss at 170 to the greatest ever at WW, conors stock barely takes a hit. heads back to 155 to deal with the sharks there. Then gsp is back in the mix with a new shine by beating mcgregor. Only wrinkle would be if gsp won, then retired again. only way i can see this fight not being in the ufc's best interest.
