haha yeah, and judging by that attempt lit's a good thing he doesn't rely on them to win fights. he hasn't submitted someone since 2009 so it's a stretch to say that he relies on them to win fights

Well the TS says someone who doesnt rely OR use submissions. Granted tyron doesn't rely on them but he does use them

There were/are a few champs that generally didn't win by sub. But did have sub attempts, and/or wins.

But the name of the game is win. I don't much care how they do it...Within the rules of course. And the more different ways a fighter has won. Speaks to how more rounded their game is/was than other fighters.

If you can win any kind of fight against any kind of an opponent. No matter where a fight goes. That's pretty special. Especially if you can beat any fighter at their own game.
