Would that beat the UFC PPV record?

UFC 205 card

Conor McGregor vs Edward Alvarez
Jon Jones vs Rumble Johnson
#BLM vs Wonderboy
Yoel Romero vs The Wide
Joanna vs Karolina

What if Miesha and Karate Hottie did topless foxy boxing, would that break PPV records?

I would say probably not to your question. When it comes to DC and Rumble, a lot of casuals don't know them. You HAVE to have casual fan appeal to come close to breaking PPV records.

Conor has casual appeal, E. Honda... err... Ronda has casual appeal, Brock definitely has it. These people set records for ratings.

Great fighters don't set PPV records. Marketable fighters do.

No, I don't think it would have added much to the buyrate tbh
Maybe though, but even if it did - it wouldn't be by much

waste from the UFC, they still would have targted that fight for 206 imo

No but I might buy the Special Edition DVD release.

All I know is that ufc had him lined up to be a star and he blew it in epic fashion. Winning at 200 and possibly headlining or co-headlining at 205 would've been huge for bones.
