If N8han, the best wrestler in both the 55 and 70 division, could only take him down twice, then everyone else is doomed.

lol this video shows him submitting people in Cage Warriors, stuffing Nate Diaz takedowns and taking down Holloway when he was a white belt

This guy has more ground game than Colin and his skinny chicken legs

He has the ground game of a hobbyist purple belt, it is crazy how you can say that Conor, Tony Ferg and Pettis are all brown belts, they both would maul Conie on the ground

No need for ground game if your opponent can't even take you down. I think Conor's opponents are just afraid to shoot because one mistake and it's good night from the left hand.

He'd beat any hobbyist purple belt in a grappling match on athleticism alone.

Conor is a damn good grappler, not world class like the guys who win adcc or mundials, but he can hang with them.

Never mind the video that proves nothing, but yes-- he's an athletic guy who's trained MMA full time for ages, with BJJ black belts dedicated to coaching him, and is now BFFs with Danis, a world class grappler. It'd be impossible for someone with his talents and time spent training and the partners he trains and has trained with to not be good at grappling. People who, with a straight face, suggest that he couldn't beat average blue/purple/brown belts are either blinded by bias or just straight don't know shit about BJJ.

LMAO Really ? He didn't dare to hang in Nate's guard when he was rocked, but would hang with the top guys? Conor wouldn't last 5 minutes with guys like Rafa Mendes or even Gilbert Durinho. Also Conor is a C-level athlete

I remain unconvinced 4:22 second video with about 3:00 minutes of the same Diaz stuff attempt spotted throughout? One of them stuffs included this gem with deleted scene assisting Conor's TDD .

Conor has no fights against wrestlers because he has a ground game.

Pettis wouldn't maul shit. I'd like to see Conor vs Tony though.

This video cuts in Nate Diaz takedown attempts as a proof of Conor's grappling abilities... wtf

lol, he's a two time champion in a grappling sport. He has *a* ground game, it's just not nearly as great as his stand up.

Someone with zero ground game, like literally none whatsoever, would have been subbed by Chad Mendes a couple years ago and we wouldn't be talking about him much. He's got enough grappling to keep the fight where he wants to or at the very least, hold on for dear life until he can get back up. Yeah he'd get molested by Khabib, but Khabib has been grappling since he was a kid and his old man was a judo and sambo master. You could say, easily, that his ground game is a glaring weakness keeping him from being a well rounded champion but no game is just haterade.

So because conor "wants no part of people on the ground" = a bad grappler?

Your tactical intelligence is quite low. fighting is about percentages. he has the best chance standing so why decrease his winning percentage by going to the ground? that would be stupid.

Conor has a really good ground game. he's trained by the best grappler in the world (danis. future MW champ). plus an excellent technical coach in kav. he's only 28 and BJJ isn't his base. he will be a black belt soon enough. one he earned not like those ones that get ganded out with a burger meal in brazil.
