Joe asked him what was harder to quit and he said weed. I believe you get mentally addicted to it not so much physically but I don't even think alcohol causes withdrawal symptoms. But he said he felt better once he quit weed. Do you agree?

I quit both and found it harder to quit weed. I think that is only because I liked being high more than I liked being drunk. Now I get high on Sherdog. FML.

"b-but weed isn't addictive!!!"

Weed doesn't cause withdrawals. You might be easier irritated for a couple days after you stop if you are a chronic user, but that's about it.

Well, that's been my experience, anyway.

I didn't know that alcohol caused withdrawals either. I'm not too heavy a drinker, though.

Alcohol withdraw can kill you

Why quit either? Buncha' amatures in life

Alcohol withdrawals are real.

This. Alcohol withdrawal is worse than opiate withdrawals they say. Weed is hard to quit when you're a daily puffer, but it's more of a boredom, and have nothing to replace the weed type thing.

Just the fact Jon Jones says he was "addicted to marijuana" makes me realize how fake and stupid he thinks people are

I think when people say that they are referring to the fact that it's not physically addictive, so no physical withdrawals. It's addictive in the sense that it's fun to do and if you do it a lot you will become accustomed to doing it and will want to continue, pretty much the same way Porn, Video games, and Junk food can be addictive.

It's got nothing on real drug addictions though, quitting marijuana can be hard but it's not really a life altering experience the way quitting real drugs is.

People saying they're addicted to marijuana are ridiculous. Just admit you like being high

It is mentally. You crave it

I know. Still a dumb thing to insist when it's addictive as fuck in general. The fact that there's nothing physically addicting in it doesn't really mean anything.

Yeah this ^^^. It's best to take different things in moderation too much of one thing so is never good idea.

The reason why it's brought up is because addiction to marijuana is MUCH different than addiction to pretty much any other drug.

Really anything fun can be addicting, it's all about moderation :)

I find that I have no withdrawal from alcohol, but it's probably because I stay drunk all the time.

Agreed. Although a lot of people say "it's not addictive" when the argument of whether it should be legal or not is brought up. It probably shouldn't be illegal, but I still look down on people that smoke that shit non stop. Potheads that think they're geniuses when they smoke weed are insufferable, so are the people who enjoy it by sitting there and spacing out like retards.
