What do you think about Conor boxing skills, is that enough to keep up with Floyd
in a real boxing fight ?

Conor's crossing of his feet is truly next level and he'd KO Mayweather.

lol. no. he's a novice who has good natural instinct. He did very well but the Gulf between that and Floyd is unbelievable. kind of like....Griffin vs Silva.

I like Conor. His punch selection and general choices in the cage have greatly improved, but there is a lifetime of mastery of difference between Conor and Floyd with regards to boxing

Conor's boxing is only getting better he did good in sparing can't hate on that

in other terrible news: the twin towers in NY were attacked by Bin laden

You could tell that Van Herdeen saw openings to hit Conor face, but refused to do it. Maybe because of respect to not make it look so easy, or whatever. Especially at 0:34 mark

They are holding back alot, so hard to take too much from this.

But conor was fairly easily hit, counters landed every time. He landed some to, but not super promising.

Van Heerden is journeyman level, just for reference.

it looks like Conor just playing about trying different stuff and Van Heerden sparring like his life depended on it

cant really tell much from that, it was also probably the first time they'd ever sparred.... both didnt look too great

He looks basic and very hittable, which is exactly what you'd expect Vs any half decent pro boxer.

In a 12 round boxing match, #40 ranked ww Chris would stop Conor, nevermind Floyd.

Haha, yeah right. Chris was taking it more easy than Conor, and still hitting him effortlessly.

Nevermind what we think. What do YOU think. We are dying to know.

neither of them were hitting the other "effortlessly".... they both looked sloppy

Van Heerden clearly was trying to prove something, Conor was just going through the motions

Van Heerden is levels below Mayweather.

I went to the PBC show in 2015 in Toronto where Errol Spence(one of the guys Mayweather has taken under his wing) fought Van Heerden. Spence easily boxed up Van Heerden and made him look so amateurish and TKO'd him in the 8th round.

Conor would have to really devote his life to boxing and train with some high level boxers is he ever wants to go rounds with Mayweather.

He really was. Couldn't miss Conor with the jab or any counter. Conor was ridiculously hittable, and Chris was barely trying.

I've seen some boxers go all out in sparring, Van Heerden certainly isn't one of them.

If he had the skills to even give Floyd a challenge he would have become a boxer.

This is slow/soft sparring. It proves or disproves nothing.

What you've said is stating the obvious, obviously, yet some people here actually think Conor would go the distance with Floyd.

Van Heerden is about 10 levels below Floyd and even he made Conor look basic.

If Floyd fought Conor, it would make the Gatti fight look competitive.
